Brown Bread
  • flour

  • salt

  • baking soda

  • plain yogurt 

  • seeds (sesame, flax ...)

  • seeds for topping 

  • milk

  • Pre-heat your oven to 400 Fº (205 Cº)

  • Mix in the flour, salt and bakind soda and give it a quick stir

  • Add the seeds (quantity as you wish) and incorporate well

  • Stir in 1/2 the yogurt and add the rest to get a firm ball (if too dry, add some milk until you have a firm ball)

  • Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead into a ball (about 2 minutes)

  • Place some seeds (for example sesame) unto a plate and press the top of the ball unto the seeds.

  • Transfer ball unto a lightly floured pan

  • Cook in the oven for some 50 minutes


Tips: you can use any type of seeds and/or dried fruits (raisins, cranberry...)
